In the UK, we are so lucky to have so many talented suppliers and a wealth of resources for wedding inspiration. These days, we are approached regularly to do styled shoots, and many of them we sadly do turn down because our client work always comes first. However, when we saw the inspiration sent over by Alex of Bijou Bride for this crazy cool warehouse shoot she’s planned with Laura Babb of Babb Photo (whom we’ve worked with here) we pretty much jumped at the chance! The brief for the shoot was loose, only comprising of geometric elements, and a mix of metallics. And oh my, they pretty much had me at gold glitter. This, my friends, is a modern take on the Great Gatsby inspired wedding done oh-so-right.
A piece that we particularly loved producing was this accordion fold, hexagonal invitation printed with white on kraft and gun-metal card. The oooh lala part is the gold glitter backed RSVP card. Love it when we get to do whatever we want!
Of course, all of the other paper goods were also glitter-backed!
We are super pleased to see the shoot featured by the amazing Kat Williams over on Rock n Roll Bride. You can see the full shoot and a list of the suppliers there. We’re so happy to have worked with French Made again, having worked on Emma and Iain’s wedding together last year. Enjoy!
